Position Summary As a Samsung Austin Semiconductor Transmission Electron Microscopy Engineer, you'll be responsible to develop, optimize and maintain recipes for various tools and processes involved in fully automated TEM analysis workflow, including but not limited to automated TEM sample preparation using focused ion beam, automated TEM imaging and automated measurement of critical dimensions. Additional functions of this engineer position include basic tool operation, alignment, calibration & maintenance, development of software or automated processes for better throughput, quality & TAT, acceptance and provision of peer trainings, et al. Requirements

• B.S. and above in Materials Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• More than 2 years of hands-on experience on at least 2 of the following: AMHS, SEM, FIB, TEM, Metrology.
• Fluent in python, recipe editor or other programming languages.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated experience on recipe or software development is a plus.
• More than 2 years experience in semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Previous analytical lab experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize and maintain recipes for various tools using python, recipe editor or other similar programming tools.
• Basic operation, alignment, calibration and maintenance of the tools involved in fully automated TEM analysis.
• Provide timely support for recipe troubleshooting.
• Learn new techniques and provide training to peer engineers/technicians.
• Recognize opportunities and lead projects to improve the analytical work in terms of capability, quality, efficiency and cost saving.
