About The Position

The Teller position at Blue Federal Credit Union is responsible for providing exceptional member service by greeting members, processing financial transactions, and addressing inquiries. Requirements

• A minimum of one year to three years of similar or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general PC skills.
• Excellent communication skills and good math skills.
• Service-oriented with a willingness to sell products and services.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a financial institution branch environment.
• Ability to operate business equipment such as adding machines and cash counters.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge members in a courteous and professional manner.
• Process member financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
• Complete Currency Transaction Reports (CTR's) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR's) as needed.
• Maintain member confidentiality and ensure proper identification is presented for transactions.
• Perform account maintenance tasks such as updating contact information and responding to inquiries about account details.
• Assist with branch teller duties including ATM transactions and balancing cash drawers.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in transactions and report issues to management.
• Complete required reports and participate in training and development activities.
• Provide assistance to the Branch Manager and fill in at other branches as needed.
• Identify and recommend products/services to members and refer them to appropriate staff.
