About The Position

The Member Service Specialist (MSS) role at Idaho Central Credit Union is designed for individuals who enjoy helping others and solving problems. As the first point of contact for members, the MSS will provide exceptional service, guiding members through their financial needs and ensuring satisfaction. This part-time position requires proficiency in Spanish and emphasizes a positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use a calculator and handle cash efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to learn a variety of channels and systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of Credit Union records.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the Financial Industry.
• Prior experience in a Customer Service role.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring member satisfaction through courteous, accurate, and efficient service.
• Providing general information to members about Credit Union services.
• Referring members to products and services that assist them in achieving financial success.
• Learning various channels and systems to perform member transactions.
• Utilizing resources to resolve member concerns on the first contact.
• Informing the manager of member needs regarding products and services.
• Demonstrating core values of Honesty and Integrity, Respect and Dignity, Growth and Performance, and Improvement and Accountability.
