The Teller I works in a TD Store location and plays a key role in delivering legendary customer experiences while processing everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency. This role also involves educating customers on TD's products and services or referring them to a partner for specialized solutions. Responsibilities include executing TD's Brand promise, performing customer transactions like deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments, and processing cash transactions with high accuracy. The Teller I responds to customer inquiries, engages in lobby leadership, educates customers on self-service/digital options, and conducts needs-based conversations to offer financial solutions or refer to partners. Sound decision-making and timely problem resolution are expected, with escalation to management when necessary. Compliance with company guidelines and regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act is crucial to minimize risk and protect customers. The role also involves verifying customer identities, balancing cash drawers, ATMs, and Teller Cash Dispensers/Recyclers, adhering to safe deposit box procedures, and maintaining appropriate cash limits and security. Confidential customer information must be securely stored, and dual control and security/audit measures must be followed to prevent fraud. All required in-classroom and online training must be completed by established due dates.
