The Teller I works in a TD Store location and plays a key role in delivering legendary customer experiences while processing everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency. This role also involves educating customers on TD's products and services or referring them to a partner for specialized solutions. The position is responsible for executing TD's Brand promise, performing various customer transactions, processing cash accurately, resolving customer inquiries, and engaging in lobby leadership. The Teller I also educates customers on self-service/digital options, acts as a customer advocate by offering financial and digital solutions, and makes sound decisions while ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulations to minimize risk and protect customers. This includes verifying customer identities, balancing cash drawers, ATMs, TCDs/TCRs, adhering to safe deposit box procedures, and maintaining cash limits and security. The role also requires ensuring confidential customer information is securely stored, understanding and following dual control, adhering to security and audit measures, and utilizing bank tools to detect and prevent fraud. All required in-classroom and online training must be completed by established due dates.
