The Teller I works in a TD Store location and plays a key role in delivering legendary customer experiences while processing everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency. This role also involves educating customers on TD's products and services or referring them to a partner for specialized solutions. The Teller I is responsible for executing TD's Brand promise, performing various customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, and accurately processing cash transactions. They respond to customer inquiries, engage in lobby leadership, and educate customers on self-service/digital options. The position requires conducting needs-based conversations, offering financial and digital solutions, and making sound decisions while escalating complex issues to management. Compliance with company guidelines and regulations like the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act is essential to minimize risk and protect customers. The Teller I verifies customer identities, balances cash drawers, ATMs, TCDs/TCRs, and adheres to safe deposit box procedures. They are accountable for cash drawers and vaults, maintaining appropriate cash limits, securing cash, and ensuring confidential customer information is stored securely. Understanding and following dual control, security, and audit measures to prevent fraud are also key. All required in-classroom and online training must be completed by established due dates.
