The Teller I works in a TD Store location and plays a key role in delivering legendary customer experiences while processing everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency. This role also involves educating customers on TD's products and services or referring them to a partner for specialized solutions. The Teller I is expected to execute TD's Brand promise by consistently delivering a Legendary Customer experience, engaging in lobby leadership, understanding customer preferences, and acting as an advocate for the customer by conducting needs-based conversations and offering financial & digital solutions. The role requires making sound decisions, providing timely problem resolution, and ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulations to minimize risk and protect the customer. It also involves verifying customer identities, balancing cash drawers, ATMs, and Teller Cash Dispensers/Recyclers, adhering to safe deposit box procedures, and being responsible for cash drawers and vaults, including maintaining appropriate cash limits and securing cash. The Teller I must also ensure confidential customer information is securely stored, follow dual control, and utilize bank tools to detect, address, and prevent fraud. All required in-classroom and online training must be completed by established due dates.
