About The Position

The Teller/Customer Service Representative at Scenic Community Credit Union is responsible for delivering exceptional member service through accurate transaction processing and creating a positive experience for every member interaction. This role involves assisting members with various banking transactions, providing financial solutions, and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic math skills
• Customer service experience
• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish (preferred)
• Cash handling experience (1 year preferred)
• Banking experience (1 year preferred)

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding member service by performing accurate transactions and creating a positive experience with every interaction.
• Greet members warmly, smile, and thank them for their business.
• Assist members with all phases of teller transactions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Handle cash and checks, issue money orders, gift and travel cards, and process cash advances.
• Provide financial solutions by sharing knowledge of available products and services.
• Refer members to appropriate team members or specialists for additional services as needed.
• Balance teller transactions daily and prepare required reports.
• Open new accounts and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
• Assist members via phone or at local kiosks with their inquiries and account needs.
