The Teller position at Del-One Federal Credit Union is responsible for accurately processing member transactions while promoting the credit union's products and services. Tellers play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with members, providing quality service, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. This role serves as the first point of contact for members, requiring strong communication skills and a commitment to member satisfaction.

Process routine member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
Open and close cash drawer daily, ensuring accurate processing and balancing of transactions.
Prevent fraud by monitoring transactions and reporting suspicious activity.
Provide information and assistance to members regarding their accounts and credit union services.
Cross-sell credit union services and products to members.
Maintain privacy of member account information and comply with all policies and procedures.
Assist branch personnel and keep supervisors informed of branch activities.

High school graduate or equivalent education.
1-3 years of related experience in a teller or customer service role.
Knowledge of teller policies and procedures and basic understanding of credit union operations.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent member service skills and professional appearance.

Bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Creole is preferred but not required.
