About The Position

The Virtual School Psychologist position at VocoVision offers a unique opportunity to provide remote psychological services to students in Colorado. This role focuses on supporting students' academic, emotional, and behavioral growth through virtual assessments, counseling, and interventions, all while working from home.

Requirements

• Active Colorado Teaching Certification (required).
• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering positive mental health in students.
• Experience working with students in a school psychology role is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable using virtual platforms and technology for assessments and counseling sessions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with students in an online school setting for at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual psychological assessments for students to identify cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling to support students' mental health, coping strategies, and emotional well-being.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on student needs and IEP goals.
• Attend virtual IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to review student progress.
• Offer consultation to staff on mental health strategies, behavior management, and social-emotional development.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided, student progress, and assessment results.
