About The Position

Centurion Health team is looking to add a per diem Telepsychiatrist to our team providing services to various State Correctional Institutions throughout the state of Pennsylvania. Ideally, this provider will be available for at least 2 days per month. As the leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities nationwide, we have partnered with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections to provide mental healthcare services since 2003. Our psychiatric team enjoys working with a clinically rich and diverse patient population and has the time to initiate change, track progress, and conduct better follow-up with the patients in our care. The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.

Requirements

MD or DO
Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and DEA
BE/BC
All qualified applicants are required to successfully complete a security clearance process as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.

Responsibilities

Provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients
Works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director
Provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
