We also provide clients with unique risk management insight built upon our proprietary long term care databases. This position is responsible for performing telephonic interviews for clients who have applied for insurance while using his/her professional knowledge and experience to assist in identification of follow-up questions needed during the health interview process. Hours of work are Mon-Fri, 1p-9p CST with the first 3 weeks being training from M-F, 8a-4:30p CST.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma
  • 1+ years experience of phone and office experience within a customer service environment
  • Licensed Insurance Agent (Florida State)

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • Working knowledge of geriatric care and Long Term care vocabulary, policies and practices

Responsibilities

  • Conducts telephonic interviews for insurance company applicants in a quiet professional environment without interruptions and/or distractions.
  • Receives calls from CSR area to complete telephone interviews with LTC applicants as they call into NCL.
  • Utilizes agency process knowledge within the scope of completing the interviews/exams.
  • Tactfully refocuses applicants who wander off the subject, when necessary,
  • Captures concise and accurate documentation on client's health history.
  • Maintains quality and productivity with all tasks.
  • Completes all completed interviews in a timely manner, according to department guidelines.
  • Determines follow-up questions needed for a thorough assessment.
  • Identifies and documents health issue flags for underwriters.
