About The Position

As a Telephonic Account Executive, you will generate new business revenue by selling LexisNexis products to corporate legal departments within your assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Have in-depth knowledge of strategic selling techniques and CRM systems
  • Be able to effectively partner and collaborate across teams
  • Be able to converse with your customers to gain insight and understand needs and challenges
  • Display proven track record of working successfully in a business development role
  • Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have impressive prospecting, selling, negotiating and closing skills
  • Have successful business-to-business sales experience
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Identifying new revenue growth opportunities in the assigned territory
  • Cultivating further potentials for current customers and developing sales leads for Account Managers for cross-selling
  • Maintaining and expanding the company’s database of prospects
  • Accepting orders, closing sales, maintaining customer records and completing required documentation
  • Planning for approaching and monitoring resources while working within the overall sales plan developed by the team manager
  • Liaising with other departments within LN to align customer requirements with company objectives
