The Patient Access Summa Connect - Telephone Operator position is a full-time role that operates from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with an every other weekend and holiday rotation. There is a potential opportunity to work from home after completing on-site training. The role involves assisting callers and patients with various tasks including way-finding, appointment scheduling, pre-service registration, insurance verification, co-pay collection, physician referral, initial screening of patient signs/symptoms, class scheduling, and addressing any other questions or concerns. The operator is expected to perform patient information queries and provide a high level of customer service to create a positive impression of Summa Health.
