About The Position
Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a (Pool/per diem) Telephone Operator to join our team! The position requires flexibility to work every other weekend and holiday. The Telephone Operator will be responsible for the operation of the Switchboard, which includes the use of Medical Console software. This role involves answering and directing all incoming calls from the public and staff for Nazareth Hospital, responding to fire alarms, security alarms, and codes in accordance with policy and procedure, and maintaining 24-hour contact with Security. Additionally, the operator will collect, provide, and distribute the on-call information for Nazareth Hospital and perform all other duties deemed necessary for the accurate and proper performance of the Telecommunications Department.
