Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Prior experience with switchboard operations preferred
• Excellent oral communications skills required

Responsibilities

• Operates console and responds to all calls promptly
• Operator is familiar with codes and alarms
• Operator is knowledgeable on activation of beeper
• Performs duties within the Telecommunications department
• Complies with dress code
• Conducts him or herself in a professional manner on behalf of MMC
• Maintains a safe work environment
• Operator handles patient information correctly
• Accepts additional duties as needed
