About The Position
The Telemetry Technician at Goshen Hospital is responsible for observing ECG monitors, interpreting and reporting the cardiac rhythm status to the RN. This role includes providing secretarial and receptionist support, basic nursing care, and assisting with the activities of daily living for patients. The technician will record, interpret, and report dysrhythmias to the RN, functioning in a NA/Sec and/or monitor watcher role as needed. Responsibilities also include maintaining unit supplies, performing routine cleaning of equipment, and ensuring a clean, safe environment. The technician will interact with patients, providing care as identified in the care plan and directed by the RN, while working under the direct supervision of an RN and using independent judgment to prioritize work and report observations.
