Scope of Work To monitor noninvasive cardiac activity and other clinical parameters of patient populations ranging from adolescence to geriatric by continuous electrocardiographic display and pulse oximetry. The technician is responsible for the interpretation of the patient’s cardiac rhythm and preforms critical alarm hand off with the nursing unit appropriately. The technician also maintains data related to monitoring and provides daily reports for the patient's permanent medical record via electronic shift report directly into EMR.
