About The Position

Utility Metering Solutions is seeking an individual to fill a Telemetry Technician position. Individuals in a Telemetry Tech role must be highly motivated, dependable, and able to work independently, with team members, and under the Field Service Manager. The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following job functions, on a daily basis: Operate a handheld tablet, which is used to capture data through bar code scanning, manual entry and photography Process the required data accurately, in order to perform quality assurance functions Meet all required completion dates/times. Communicate with others in a professional manner, and have clear written and verbal communication skills Follow standards of safety, productivity and quality of work UMS provides step-by-step training, & all necessary tools to be successful field. Requirements

Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License
Must have and maintain a vehicle & proof of insurance
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Must have clear written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work all required shifts
Have basic technological equipment skills
Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, and lift/carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
Achieving standards of safety, productivity, and quality of work.
Should have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Must be capable of working under the following conditions:
Wearing the Company required uniforms & required PPE, which is provided by the company.
Standing, walking, reaching, using hands and arms frequently
Performing work outdoors, in variable weather conditions and environments
Following oral and written directions, plans, and instruction from the Field Service Manager
