About The Position

Position Overview: Provide continuous EKG monitoring, and interpretation of the rhythms, including lethal arrhythmias. Notify appropriate staff of arrhythmias. Oversee the care, maintenance and tracking of telemetry equipment and servicing. Report any problems with telemetry equipment to the Telemetry Manager and/or the Bio Med Department.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Rhythm Recognition Course Certificate
• Successful completion of the CMH Telemetry Technician competency within three (3) months of hire

Nice To Haves

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Six (6) months telemetry monitoring experience
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Good communication and problem solving skills
