Telemetry Technician - Full-Time/Nights
About The Position
As a Telemetry Technician, you will play a vital role in patient care by supporting nursing staff and ensuring accurate cardiac monitoring. Responsibilities include: • Monitoring cardiac rhythms and telemetry for patients. • Providing leadership and professional support in telemetry monitoring activities. • Collaborating with nursing leadership to standardize arrhythmia management and non-invasive cardiology testing. • Participating in multidisciplinary teams to design and implement clinical standards of care for monitored patients. • Promoting exceptional customer service and organizational values.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
- Completion of a Cardiac Monitoring program.
- Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) through CCI.
- OR 2 years of related experience in lieu of certification.
Nice To Haves
- State of Michigan Paramedic license.
