About The Position
As the leading high acuity telemedicine provider in the United States, Hicuity Health is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an EKG Technician. This EKG Technician (Telemetry) position is responsible for the continual surveillance, analysis, and documentation of electrocardiographic patterns of monitored patients. The technician will be tasked with correctly identifying, interpreting, and reporting heart rhythms and rates, and notifying appropriate personnel of significant changes. This role is critical in ensuring patient safety and effective communication within the healthcare team. In this position, you will continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and communicate as needed with bedside staff. You will be responsible for correctly measuring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, identifying any changes, and appropriately responding to telemetry alarms. Additionally, you will routinely analyze, document, and transmit or print baseline rhythm strips, ensuring accurate records are maintained for each patient. Your expertise will play a vital role in supporting the clinical team and enhancing patient care in acute and critical care environments.
