Schedule: Full Time Shift :Nights Location: 4200 Sun 'n Lake Boulevard Sebring, FL 33872 The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Sebring Faith Based & Mission driven Facility Largest Employer in the County Surrounded by beautiful Lakes, Golf Courses and Floridas oldest State Park Close knit community with a home town family feel Nature and hiking trails The role you'll contribute: An EKG Monitor Technician works under the direction of the professional nurse providing close surveillance of EKG monitors and communicating the rhythm status to the nurses. Adheres to AdventHealths Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
  • BLS- condition of employment

Responsibilities

  • Performs properly and legibly documents in accordance with department policy. Documents in telemetry logbook.
  • Continuously observes monitors.
  • Recognizes and documents normal EKG patterns. Recognizes abnormal patterns and notifies nursing staff promptly. Maintains telemetry printout during cardiac arrest and as indicated.
  • Maintains monitor alarms per policy. Verifies that monitor alarms are set and audible every shift. Troubleshoots monitors as needed.
