About The Position

Requirements

• Active CA RN State License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Telemetry Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia interpretation, and medication administration is required.
• Familiarity with various telemetry monitoring equipment and cardiac care protocols.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience using electronic health records (EHR) and telemetry monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms continuously, identifying and responding to any changes or abnormalities.
• Administer medications as prescribed and assess their effects on patients' conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Communicate with patients and their families about treatments, recovery expectations, and necessary lifestyle changes.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families about their conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Meditech.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines.
• Respond quickly and effectively to cardiac emergencies, using advanced assessment and nursing skills.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and nursing practices.
