About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Telemetry unit. This position involves delivering patient care in a monitored environment, specifically for patients with cardiac conditions. The RN will be responsible for recognizing and responding to EKG rhythm changes, providing appropriate escalated care, and caring for patients with complex cardiac conditions, chronic diseases, or post-operative monitoring needs. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to design and adapt individualized care plans, as well as accurate and timely documentation of all patient care.

Requirements

• Current RN license (compact license accepted).
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry, Stepdown, or Progressive Care experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in a monitored Telemetry unit, providing surveillance and intervention for patients with cardiac conditions.
• Recognize and respond to EKG rhythm changes, escalating care appropriately.
• Care for patients with complex cardiac conditions, chronic disease, or post-operative monitoring needs.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to design and adapt individualized care plans.
• Document all patient care accurately and on time.
