About The Position
As a Monitor Technician joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. This includes: Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff Tests equipment for proper working order and reports problems to supervisor
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Handle with Care (HWC) within 6 months of hire/transfer
Responsibilities
- Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors
- Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately
- Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff
- Tests equipment for proper working order and reports problems to supervisor
