About The Position

Job Description: Performs a variety of non-professional patient care, cleaning and organizing activities for patients under the clinical supervision of a registered nurse or LPN.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Nursing Assistant certification and listed with the Division of Facility Services Registry.
  • If NAII, must be listed as such by the NC Board of Nursing.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions and keep simple records.
  • BLS certification required within the first week of employment.
  • CPI required within three months of employment.
  • Proficient in basic clerical skills and use of standard office equipment.
  • Incumbent will be required to demonstrate age-specific competency for patients, ranging from adult to geriatric.
