About The Position

Mental health issues in children and adolescents can significantly impact their development, academic performance, social relationships and overall well-being, with lasting consequences into adulthood if not addressed. But you can help! Join our team and make a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve! Child Guidance & Family Solutions is looking for compassionate Telehealth Outpatient Therapists to provide mental and behavioral health counseling services to children and families remotely via telehealth. Work part-time (5-15 hrs/wk) from our Akron office or from your home, providing an atmosphere of trust, acceptance and hope for all clients.

Requirements

• LPCC, LISW or IMFT required
• Documented experience providing therapy to children and family
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft software; ability to learn and use Epic EHR and other systems

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling to assigned clients
• Conduct mental health assessments and evaluations to establish appropriate treatment goals and objectives for clients
• Plan, implement and regularly modify treatment plans to ensure clients are meeting individual goals
• Provide guidance to facilitate clients' normal growth and development, and aid in their understanding and solving of current and potential problems
