About The Position
Affect is expanding its services to include high-quality, accessible mental health treatment, building on its success in substance use disorder care. This new model integrates licensed therapists, innovative technology, and a human-centered approach to help individuals manage various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, on their own terms. The company is seeking skilled and compassionate licensed mental health professionals, specifically Nebraska licensed LIMHP or LMHP, to join its remote care team. Affect also encourages non-independent mental health professionals to apply, as it tries to support such licenses when possible.
Requirements
- Active and verifiable license from one of the following Nebraska licenses: LIMHP or LMHP, as well as your state of residence if it is not Nebraska
- All credentials must be verified through the State Board’s website as part of the application process
- Experience providing psychotherapy in outpatient, private practice, or telehealth settings
- Strong communication and clinical skills with a person-centered, trauma-informed approach
- Comfort with EMRs, Google Suite or Microsoft Office, and telehealth tools
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with professionalism and integrity
- Have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and collaboratively develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Provide individual psychotherapy sessions via secure telehealth platforms
- Support Members with a wide range of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges with flexibility to work with members with substance use disorders at times
- Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Coordinate care as needed and contribute to a supportive, multidisciplinary environment
- Participate in clinical team meetings and optional case consultations
- Adhere to HIPAA and all applicable state licensure regulations
Benefits
- The salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 - $80,000 and will commensurate with experience and professional license
