Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting is preferred
• Experience using an EHR system is very helpful
• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is helpful

Responsibilities

• Prep patients for exams: take vitals & medical histories
• Assist with transfers & schedule follow-up care
• Coordinate physicals & workplace injury visits
• Screen incoming calls for provider referrals
• Support telehealth visits: virtual intake, documentation & tech troubleshooting
• Keep records accurate: update EHR with visit notes & follow-ups
