About The Position
LEARN Behavioral is currently seeking a licensed Psychologist, PhD or Psy.D , to lead a new autism evaluation team in Virginia. Requirements
- PhD or PsyD in Psychology from an accredited university
- LLP or LP, licensed in the state of Virginia
- Ability to work cohesively with a team of other licensed clinicians
- Clinical experience diagnosing autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and communication disorders
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with the ADOS-2 assessment preferred
- Comfortable with new diagnostic technologies
- Experience with toddlers preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred but not
Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and assessments with children and adolescents to determine the presence of various neurodevelopmental conditions, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other intellectual disabilities
- Administering, scoring, and interpreting developmental and psychological assessments measures
- Completing psychological reports, progress notes, treatment plans, and other documentation in accordance with company practices
- Providing individual, family, and/or group therapy
- Opportunities for supervision of staff and trainees
- Maintaining state license, completing required continuing education, and staying current on literature around evidence-based practices and interventions
