About The Position

The Telehealth Administrative Summer Internship at Intermountain Healthcare is designed to provide an educational opportunity for master's students while contributing to the improvement of hospital operations. Interns will work closely with the telehealth leadership team on strategic and operational projects, gaining hands-on experience in telehealth operations, outreach functions, and air ambulance services. The internship aims to prepare future healthcare leaders through mentorship, leadership meetings, and development workshops, culminating in a process improvement initiative.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of one year of a post-graduate degree program in Business, Public Health, or Health Services Administration.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and skills in critical thinking, strategic planning, analysis, and systems thinking.
• Proficiency with business computer applications (spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, databases).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Preference for students in the middle of their first and second year of their Master's program.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with telehealth leadership on strategic and operational improvement projects.
