About The Position

Cherokee Preting is seeking a fully cleared Telecommunications Project Lead to support our Client in Northern Virginia. The Telecommunications Project Lead will have a Full Scope Poly at time of application and will be charged with supporting finance, personnel management and training.

Requirements

  • Must have an active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph level clearance at time of application.
  • Must have experience with the Client and their systems.
  • Must have experience providing Telecommunications support in the industry and have been responsible for support activities including governance, customer relations and training.
  • Must have excellent communication (written and oral) skills to perform briefings and complete required reports.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred to have five (5) or more years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred to have a Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
  • Preferred to have cable writing experience.
  • Able to identify, incorporate and document leading practices in regulatory compliance and communicate these findings and recommendations to the client, at all levels.
  • Have experience executing the following: Training Agendas, Training Instruction, Leading Training Events, Travel Coordination and Reporting, Coordination with Students and Training Officials.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to SMEs, Mid-Level Project Managers, client leadership, programmers, and technicians (organic or contractors) to ensure telecom requirements function in the overall program.
  • Capture results of telecom-related discussions, planning and programs and consult SMEs, to ensure proper execution.
  • Highlight risks, accomplishments, and issues through a defined chain of command and document finalized outcomes.
  • Perform duties, meet defined goals and assist the client in accordance with a telecommunications strategy that fully integrates client elements into the design and construction phases of the program.
  • Provide updates to client stakeholders and keep a record of changes in the communications approach or issues that present a risk to the U.S.
  • Test, refine and assist in implementing new communication techniques per client guidance.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
