About The Position
Under the supervision of a Supervisor of Building Trades, the Telecommunications Facilities Technician II performs construction and repair work, maintenance and repairs on heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, complex electrical and mechanical work, on-site construction including concrete work, fence installations, carpentry, vault or small building construction, and maintenance of standby generator systems including transfer panels. This position travels extensively throughout the state in support of the Department's telecommunications infrastructure and communication systems.
