Abbott is seeking a motivated, customer-centric Junior Cloud Contact Center Engineer to join our growing Contact Center Services team at our Lake County location. In this role, the successful candidate will focus on the operations and maintenance of our cloud-based contact center, specifically utilizing the Five9 platform. This position involves assisting in the implementation of the contact center solutions and ensuring seamless communication experiences for the business. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior engineers to support our cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and monitor performance to maintain optimal system functionality. The Junior Cloud Contact Center Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for cloud contact center systems, which includes troubleshooting, patching, and performance monitoring. The role also requires participation in an on-call rotation to address any urgent issues that may arise. Additionally, the candidate will assist in configuring and deploying the Five9 cloud-based contact center platform, integrating it with other enterprise systems such as CRMs, IVR, and reporting tools. Documentation is a key aspect of this role, as the engineer will provide input on technical documentation, including system configurations, workflows, and best practices. User training is another important responsibility, where the candidate will assist in developing training materials and conducting basic training sessions for internal teams. Continuous learning is encouraged, and the candidate should stay current with the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing and contact center technologies. The ability to quickly absorb new concepts and apply that knowledge to current efforts and plans is essential, especially when working with cloud-based solutions provided by external partners and suppliers.
