Provides a comprehensive array of professional services related to the identification, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of persons with auditory and balance disorders and the disabilities associated with them. Audiologists utilize evaluation, assessment, patient education and counseling tools to identify and provide non-medical management of disorders of the auditory, balance, and neural system. Audiologists work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
