About The Position

American Electric/Olgoonik is seeking a successful outside sales professional to join our team on the island of Maui. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in field sales, technical aptitude, and the ability to develop relationships through consultative selling. This position involves selling Preventative Maintenance services for Electrical Distribution Systems to commercial and industrial clients, as well as other business environments. The role offers a competitive base salary plus commission on sales, and requires a strong ability to initiate contact with new customers and follow up on service agreements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Understanding of NFPA 70E and other electrical safety codes.
• Technical certifications (e.g., Electrical Technician, OSHA Safety).
• Experience in B2B service sales or technical sales.

Nice To Haves

• Experience selling maintenance contracts or service agreements.
• Knowledge of project management software/tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote TEGG C.A.R.E. objectives.
• Coordinate leadership communication with TEGG GM, TEGG Sales Manager, and TEGG Administrative Coordinator.
• Attend and complete TEGG training as required.
• Implement and comply with MSR job duties with 0% deviation.
• Prospect and qualify sales opportunities.
• Understand sales prospects' organization and decision-making process.
• Schedule presentations and close sales.
• Survey electrical systems and interpret electrical drawings.
• Prepare pricing and proposals for internal review and delivery to customers.
• Address customer concerns to maintain long-term positive relationships.
