About The Position

The Teen Lounge Instructor is responsible for providing recreational services to members of the Boys & Girls Club through the implementation of engaging programs that include tournaments, contests, skills classes, and group activities. This role involves mentoring youth in a supervised environment, ensuring a safe and enjoyable space for social and recreational activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Implement a weekly program plan that includes tournaments and contests.
• Facilitate skills classes and participatory games.
• Supervise free play and ensure safety in the Teen Lounge.
• Organize at least two tournaments and one contest or activity daily.
• Conduct table games twice weekly and manage a weekly Group Club.
• Participate in monthly InterClub tournaments.
• Maintain bulletin boards and displays with up-to-date information.
• Secure the Teen Lounge area when not in use.
• Supervise hallways and adjacent areas.
