About The Position
The City of Santa Clarita is recruiting for a part-time, temporary, seasonal (PTS) Recreation Leader I to lead teens ages 13 to 17 in the Summer Teen Experience at the Canyon Country Community Center. The Summer Teen Experience provides teens 13 to 17 with a summer filled with a variety of age-appropriate activities, including sports, creative projects, water games, field trips, and more! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with teens, being creative, and making a difference in the community. Summer programs run from June 16-August 8, 2025. Staff Training begins on June 9, 2025. These positions are expected to work up to 40 hours per week based on the needs of the program; Monday-Friday with shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
