About The Position

The Teen Court Case Manager is a contractual role within the Duval County Court, responsible for managing cases of youth involved in a pre-arrest diversion program. This position focuses on assessing risk factors, coordinating with community service providers, and overseeing program activities to ensure effective case management and restorative justice practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree.
• Two years of related experience, which can include internships or related studies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of risk and need factors for youth involved in the program.
• Formulate program contracts for participants.
• Manage courtroom activities related to the Teen Court.
• Coordinate efforts between youth, parents, and community service providers.
• Provide oversight through school and provider visits with the youth.
• Serve as a liaison between community volunteers and the Duval County Teen Court Neighborhood Accountability Boards.
• Facilitate mock trials to assign appropriate sanctions to participants.
• Document all services provided in accordance with Teen Court policy.
• Maintain project data and statistical information.
