This role supports services provided to the federal government or federal government contractor and therefore requires US Citizenship. Proof of citizenship status will be required at time of hire. We are seeking an experienced Technology Vendor Management professional with a strong background in technology products, within the benefits administration space, to lead vendor and product alignment across our IT landscape. This role focuses on ensuring the products and platforms we invest in are intentional, well‑aligned, and delivering value. You will partner closely with Strategic Sourcing, Finance, Security, and IT teams to ensure technology investments deliver value, manage risk, and support business outcomes. This is an individual contributor role with high visibility and cross‑functional impact.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in IT vendor management, technology sourcing, or supplier management
Experience managing vendors across SaaS, cloud, platforms, infrastructure, or managed services
Solid understanding of contracts, SLAs, and vendor performance management
Financial acumen, including experience influencing or managing technology spend
Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence without direct authority

Responsibilities

Own the lifecycle management of technology vendors, including onboarding, renewal, and exit
Partner with Strategic Sourcing and Finance on vendor strategy, contracts, and cost optimization
Establish vendor governance, performance standards, and review cadence
Define and track KPIs, SLAs, and service metrics; hold vendors accountable for delivery and quality
Evaluate technology products and vendor alternatives to ensure alignment with IT strategy and architecture
Support vendor risk, security, and compliance assessments in partnership with Security and Risk teams
Serve as the primary IT point of contact for vendor performance, escalation, and relationship management
