Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of administrative work experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with the Minuet Intellectual Property Database and/or iEdison government reporting system preferred.
• Experience working with legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Review and triage patent correspondence from outside law firms.
• Maintain and update the Minuet-JHTV's Intellectual Property Database with patent-related data.
• Manage the patent prosecution formal documents process, including proofreading and collecting signatures.
• Assist with managing intellectual property matters related to invention disclosures.
• Review invoices and ensure compliance with federal and non-federal funding requirements.
• Explore opportunities for automation and advanced data reporting to improve processes.
