Minister- Technology Technician
About The Position
The job of a Technology Technician is to remove, install, and repair network hardware as well as perform software installations and updates. They will perform operational checks on hardware and software throughout the ministry and resolve network problems as they arise. Technicians will be responsible for monitoring the performance of computer networks and mobile device management systems and documenting operational activities. They will be instrumental in assisting staff with audio/video equipment and device connections via AirPlay and hardwire. They will work closely with departmental directors and heads to prepare instruction manuals for each department and the ministry as a whole.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in IT is preferred
Responsibilities
- Works closely with staff and students to resolve any technical issues that may arise on campus
- Ensures all devices are set up correctly and in a timely manner for all new staff
- Connects necessary devices to the Wi-Fi, necessary printers, and other working devices
- Assists in all audio and visual installations, as well as helping resolve any technical issues
