The mission of the Executive Office of Veterans Services (EOVS) is to advocate on behalf of all the Commonwealth’s veterans and provide quality support services and to direct an emergency financial assistance program for those veterans and their dependents who are in need; an outreach program for homeless prevention, suicide prevention, two State Operated Veterans’ Homes and two Cemeteries. The state-operated veterans homes were established as multifaceted healthcare facilities available to eligible veterans of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The mission is to provide long-term care and support services with dignity, honor, and respect in the best possible healthcare environment for eligible veterans who reside in the Commonwealth. With a team of approximately 400 professionals, we uphold a tradition of unwavering service to Massachusetts veterans, ensuring excellence in both current and future care. The Massachusetts Veterans Home (MVH) at Chelsea is a state-funded, fully accredited health care facility that offers veterans quality health care, including full-time residential accommodations, and provides educational and social services for Veterans in the Commonwealth. The Veterans Home at Chelsea is staffed by approximately 330+ administrators, clinicians, nurses, certified nursing assistants, skilled trade, dietary staff, housekeeping staff, contractors, consultants, and general administrative personnel. The tradition of service to the veterans of Massachusetts is surpassed only by a continued commitment to excellence in care for those who are in need now and in the future. Our mission is to provide “Care with Dignity, Honor, and Respect” to our Veterans. EOVS is currently seeking a Technology & Systems Project Manager (Chelsea) to oversee the workflow and utilization of the recently implemented Electronic Medical Health Record (EMR) and other software applications. The Technology & Systems Project Manager (Chelsea) will lead and coordinate the organizational change management and workflow activities for the software applications at the facility as well as implement developed facility-wide plans to manage change, communication, and expectations during the project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, scope management, and performance monitoring. The incumbent will report to the Deputy Superintendent and collaborate with the EOVS Department of Homes and Housing Chief Information Officer to ensure the complete implementation and optimization of the transformational process. The Technology & Systems Project Manager (Chelsea) will play a pivotal role in driving organizational transformation, change management, technical readiness, and effective communication. The primary work location for this role will be 100 Summit Avenue, Chelsea, Massachusetts 02150. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8\:00AM to 4\:00PM EST This opportunity follows a full on-site schedule of reporting . After-hours support may be required as needed and authorized. Intermittent travel may be required based on operational needs.
