We are looking for a hands-on Technology & Systems Manager who will help us to tackle current needs and to plan/grow for our future.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business/Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience.
  • Hands-on experience as both a software developer and database administrator (DBA).
  • Experience with some type of workflow processes (Cognito, ERP, CMS, etc.)
  • Strong technical knowledge of networks, operating systems, and cloud applications (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, etc.).
  • Experience participating in at least one large/medium project implementing ERP, Construction Management, or similar complex software (integration experience is a plus).
  • Experience in SQL, with the ability to pull, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Experience leading IT projects — from planning through deployment and user adoption.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to balance technical detail and business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive and senior leadership to align IT strategy with company goals and operational needs.
  • Develop and manage the company’s IT roadmap, ensuring systems and infrastructure scale effectively as the organization grows.
  • Manage the IT budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and making smart investments in technology.
  • Recruit/manage external resources as necessary.
  • Specify, acquire, implement, and maintain all approved computer software systems, including ERP or Construction Management Systems (CMS).
  • Serve as the technical lead on ERP/CMS configuration, integration, and optimization — ensuring alignment across departments.
  • Lead or assist with system integrations and automation projects to improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the administration, maintenance, and security of databases, ensuring high performance, integrity, and reliability.
  • Manage IT vendor and Managed Service Provider (MSP) relationships — ensuring accountability and service excellence.
  • Implement IT policies, best practices, and standard operating procedures across the organization.
  • Manage at least one Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tool and ensure accurate data flow from multiple sources.
  • Partner with business leaders to deliver actionable insights through data visualization, dashboards, and reporting automation.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and consistency across platforms.
