The Technology Support Technician manages the information commons in the library from Sunday through Thursday, 4 pm to closing. Responsibilities include providing assistance to library patrons during evening service hours, maintaining statistical data for services provided, checking meeting rooms for equipment status, and assisting with media assignments using various software. The technician also helps patrons with downloading information from electronic resources and ensures that computer hardware remains operational during service hours.
