About The Position

VIA Auto Finance is a new and growing prime/near prime auto finance lender located near the Irvine Spectrum. Our dealer partners include independent and franchise dealerships. This is a great opportunity to start with us as we expand. We are seeking an all-around highly motivated Technology Support and Information Services Analyst to join our dynamic team at VIA Auto Finance. This role will be responsible for supporting the company’s technology infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with our business goals, and providing robust IT support to all departments. The analyst will be responsible for reporting IS Business Office metrics, maintaining the data quality of the IS asset management system, and acting as a backup for other IS Business Office staff. The analyst will assist in maintaining relationships with vendors and monitoring vendor performance to ensure compliance with agreements. The analyst is also responsible to assist with the distribution, and maintenance of mobile devices and supporting lifecycle management of hardware. The analyst assists in maintaining an accurate inventory of all hardware and software assets, coordinate the use of asset management tools and processes to track lifecycle and utilization while ensuring compliance with asset management policies, including the disposal of obsolete assets. This multifaceted role requires a blend of technical expertise, and strong communication skills to manage resources efficiently and support organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Specialist or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and related technologies
  • Experience supporting Office 365 and common enterprise IT tools
  • Understanding of networking concepts
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP)
  • Understanding of cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid network architectures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Strong access management skills, including Active Directory and folder permissions
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, charts, and data analytics

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications a plus; including ITIL, Microsoft: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

Responsibilities

  • Reporting IS Business Office metrics

  • Acting as a backup for other IS Business Office staff

  • The main point of contact between end-users and third-party vendors who provide technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop related technical problems, including operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices
  • Help to ensure setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop hardware and software, ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure
  • Create and track support tickets, ensuring high user satisfaction
  • Manage third party vendor completion of software installations, updates, and patches across desktops
  • Provide training and documentation to end-users on desktop systems and applications
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to address escalated issues and contribute to projects
  • Lead and contribute to IT projects, ensuring timely and within-budget execution
  • Support reporting, funding and data integrity projects and procedures as assigned
