ISRP CONTINGENT - Technology Specialist – Digital Forensic Examiner
About The Position
Role Overview: Conduct forensic examinations of digital devices; deliver technical findings supporting active operations and casework. What This Means in Practice • On‑site performance at private client‑controlled locations is the default. • No guarantee of telework; alternate arrangements must be explicitly authorized. • Personnel may rotate between: Headquarters/central program offices; regional technical/operational centers; field/project offices; secure operational sites. • OCONUS travel is possible but not continuous — generally short‑duration planning, coordination, or specific mission support.
Requirements
- Hands‑on experience with forensic tools and methodologies
- Strong analytical writing and courtroom-ready documentation standards
- Interagency coordination and data-sharing awareness
- TS/SCI eligibility
- 8+ years digital forensics, cyber investigations, or technical evidence analysis
Responsibilities
- Acquire, examine, and analyze data from mobiles, storage media, and embedded systems
- Maintain chain of custody and evidentiary documentation
- Produce technical reports and brief findings to investigators
- Assist in policy/SOP development and operator training
