About The Position

The Technology Solutions Consultant at Virtual Technologies Group (VTG) is responsible for driving new business growth and expanding existing client relationships by delivering tailored IT and cybersecurity solutions. This role combines consultative sales, technical understanding, and relationship management to help organizations strengthen their technology environments. The consultant works closely with clients to assess needs, present solutions, and guide them through the decision‑making process while collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful implementation. This position requires a motivated, detail‑oriented professional who can operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and consistently achieve sales targets in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Experience selling IT or cybersecurity products or services
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present solutions clearly to clients
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Michigan
