The role of the HashiCorp Subject Matter Expert (SME) is to create demand and progress opportunities across the HashiCorp product portfolio in Financial Services accounts. The HashiCorp SME owns the budget for the market and is expected to have a business plan and the operational rigor to deliver the budget objectives. Responsibilities include deal ownership, support of team with deep eminence on Americas sales plays to generate new pipeline, client activation, deep conversational capabilities across product differentiators and representing the IBM HashiCorp strategy across executive briefings, round tables, user groups, and online digital communities.

  • Create demand and progress opportunities across the HashiCorp product portfolio in Financial Services accounts.
  • Own the budget for the market and develop a business plan to meet budget objectives.
  • Take ownership of deals and support the team with expertise on Americas sales plays.
  • Generate new pipeline and activate clients.
  • Communicate effectively about product differentiators.
  • Represent the IBM HashiCorp strategy in various forums including executive briefings and user groups.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Demonstrated success in technology sales, particularly in acquiring new clients.
  • Possess strong business acumen and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate in an engaging, compelling, and influential manner.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the automation market.
